Be prepared for wait on the weekend, but it's worth it. One of the places that does tripping grits that are amazing. And their biscuits are phenomenal. And my son says the brisket club was to die for.

Totally awesome sauce. Pro tip: If you can get a fresh pop-tart, it's worth the wait. The lemon meringue pop tart fresh out of the oven nearly brought me to tears. I did end up crying at this restaurant but for other, non pop tart related reasons. Anyways.. The biscuits and gravy are amazing, super fluffy biscuits, just a good place so go there OKAY!! Another pro-tip don't try to park your car around here, ride a bike or walk or whatever you do. Parking sucks in this area.

Yum yum YUM! Biscuits and gravy are one of my favorite foods and Pine State Biscuits goes above and beyond. The biscuits are fluffy and the gravy is rich. I've never had mushroom gravy and it's a total game changer. Come in and enjoy the hearty food, friendly atmosphere, and bottomless local coffee. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, with heating lamps above the outdoor dining. They're located right by a major railroad crossing so finding parking can be tricky if you're not from the area as the sidestreet seems to get blocked by the train for long periods of time fairly regularly. This does make it a great place to people-watch though.

Man on man. Usually when you get volume you can be overwhelmed by the amount carbs that can be given to you. Note I was hungry after a 2 hour nap from my flight. I didn't get sleep before. Could it have played the way I was hungry? Maybe. With that being said. Let's start. This spot was not the original place I wanted to eat because I was looking for something else, it's not normal that I crave biscuits in the morning but since this is different from my normal morning time breakfast fiend, ill make the exception. Hurry up and start talking the food! Alright alright: The reggie deluxe: Fried chicken, bacon, and Tillamook cheddar topped with mushroom gravy and an egg. There was another choice but i went with the recommendation. Absolute flames. First of all it's a hearty sandwich this could be shared for two. I knocked out this monster right out the gate. Every time I kept taking a bite im like, wow i can keep going. They make their biscuits from scratch everyday so super super kudo points for that. Blueberry Cornmeal Pancakes: Big triple stack made from scratch with local blueberries and served with butter, lemon, and real maple syrup. They serve you per pancake up on request, it my usual head two sounds good enough. These were nice size pancakes as well. The attention to detail with local ingredients just hits home. I can't tell you enough about this place. parking: pain in the butt as usual but I was lucky to find a spot early.

I got the special with fried chicken and pimento cheese. Out of this world— live the biscuits and love pimento cheese. I would even go without the chicken to just slather this biscuit with pimento cheese.

Just delicious. Showed up on a quiet Monday morning looking for biscuits and gravy, I only get to have them once every couple of years and these delivered. Finished up feeling fat and happy with the fancy pop tarts.

Super happy we found this place while visiting. Everything was GOOD. Portion was pretty big and I had to cut mine in half. Got there around 9am and it got packed afterwards. I would come back!!

Still the best biscuits and gravy you will ever encounter. Traveling down South for the last couple years on business has been a big disappointment in this staple breakfast. If I have a mid morning out of PDX, then I'll definitely be at the Pine State 8 am opening. So good to have a great breakfast before a flight. Airport is only 15 minutes away going against the commute into downtown.
